New Target, continuing our work with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), has launched the website for NHPCO’s affiliate, Global Partners in Care (GPC). Formerly known as The Foundation for Hospices in Sub-Saharan Africa (FHSSA), Global Partners in Care was looking to expand its mission and create an image that would reflect its new global mission. 

As part of both a need and a desire for change, they faced a series of challenges. They needed a new foundation name, a new message, a new website, and, in full, a new brand. New Target creatively assessed these challenges and was able to set the tone for the new brand through messaging, graphic design, photography selection, and a new “Give” online donation feature. New Target Designer Paige Wagner stated, “The website seeks to draw people in through powerful imagery and informative, friendly graphics and convince them to join GPC on their mission as a partner organization or financial supporter.”

Along with creative changes, technical changes were implemented as well. The website was moved into an existing multi-site installation of Drupal 7, which New Target previously architected and developed. The new Global Partners in Care website was created using responsive web design techniques, allowing the user to have a seamless experience across any device, whether it be a PC, laptop, tablet, or smart phone.
