Online Marketing has become a key focus for the web industry and for New Target. In today’s online marketplace, there is a fierce competition between companies and organizations trying to gain exposure and presence on the web. Although a well-designed and user-friendly web site is a great start, it simply isn’t enough to gain the conversions everyone wants from their web site. For this reason, New Target offers custom, year-long online marketing campaigns, which focus heavily on search engine optimization and positioning. We recommend a year-long commitment to such marketing campaigns because we have found that changes in search engine results can take time, but we think the time is worth the wait. As we approach the one year mark with one client, a prominent association in real estate investment trusts, we are very pleased to share some of the results we have achieved for them.
New Target engaged in online marketing for this association beginning March 2010 with statistics first becoming relevant in May 2010. Goals for the project included placement on Google News and improving their organic search results across all major search engines. Organic search results are listings on search engine results pages that appear because of their relevance to the search terms, as opposed to their being advertisements. By contrast, efforts to enhance non-organic search results may include pay per click advertising, such as Google AdWords.
