Brian leads the strategic direction of New Target, focusing on delivering high-value digital solutions to all New Target clients by assembling a team of the very best marketers, designers, and developers. He leverages his professional experience and academic background in strategic communication and leadership to provide engagement planning and overall guidance to our clients and his team.
Brian often participates in the discovery and planning phases of New Target’s enterprise software projects and marketing engagements, and continues to serve as a digital strategist on high-profile strategic communication projects. His focus is translating a client’s mission and objectives into achievable digital marketing and software solutions built on a sound strategy.
Before being named CEO in 2016, Brian served as vice president of New Target for several years. In this capacity, he served as a lead strategist and communication consultant while overseeing the day-to-day operations of New Target’s project teams.
Prior to New Target, Brian worked for an Alexandria, Virginia agency providing strategy, communication, technology, and program management services to many well-known federal agencies. He has worked for nonprofit organizations and for-profit companies in various leadership and management capacities and brings this experience to New Target’s clients.
Brian holds both M.A. and B.A. degrees.
In addition to his technology interests and being a youth basketball coach, he is a voracious reader and enjoys exploring Virginia’s many book sales and stores for forgotten treasures. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and children, all of whom wittily remind him how lucky he is…daily.
