The Challenge

Koloma was advancing exploration efforts at unprecedented speed. But its brand and website did not yet reflect the scale, complexity, or authority of its work.

  • The science behind natural hydrogen exploration was highly technical and difficult to communicate clearly.
  • The brand system lacked consistency across subsidiaries and materials.
  • The website structure did not fully support education, recruitment, stakeholder engagement, or policy visibility.

Brand Identity & Subsidiary Brand System

We established a cohesive brand identity for Koloma and its subsidiaries to ensure consistency as the organization expanded. This included master logo systems, presentation templates, letterhead suites, business cards, and a comprehensive brand book.

To support clarity and distinction, we also developed tailored brand guidelines for six subsidiaries. This approach allows each entity to maintain its own identity while clearly laddering up to the Koloma parent brand.

Website Redesign: Koloma.com​

We redesigned Koloma.com to reflect Koloma’s leadership in natural hydrogen exploration.

The new site balances scientific credibility with clarity and accessibility. Expanded content, intuitive UX, and a modern visual system establish Koloma as the definitive authority in this emerging energy sector.

Behind the scenes, we implemented an editor-friendly CMS structure, improving flexibility and internal content management.

Clear Science, Made Visual

As drilling initiatives accelerated, Koloma needed to clearly explain its work to communities, policymakers, and stakeholders.
Using Koloma’s scientific source material, we developed:
21 custom scientific illustrations explaining:

UX Expansion 
& Careers Growth

Through a collaborative discovery phase, we identified the core pages needed to establish authority and guide user understanding of natural hydrogen exploration. New page designs were created to support education, transparency, and engagement across technical and non-technical audiences.

As hiring accelerated, a dedicated careers hub became a priority. We designed and launched a careers landing page with LinkedIn integrations, along with FAQ-style dropdowns that improve SEO and AEO performance while keeping complex information easy to navigate.

Digital PR Strategy & Authority Building

Through a structured digital PR approach, we established a foundation for Koloma to define narrative, build credibility, and expand visibility across emerging AI conversations around natural hydrogen. Efforts focused on aligning messaging, increasing authoritative coverage, and ensuring consistency across all external digital communications. 

To support long term scalability, we developed a AEO governance playbook that standardizes messaging and guides content creation across teams. This was paired with strategic article development designed to strengthen Koloma’s presence in AI and search driven environments, contributing to a growing LLM knowledge base. Technical schema enhancements were also implemented to improve discoverability and reinforce digital PR impact.

Educational Video & Stakeholder Enablement

To support clearer communication of a complex and emerging topic, we developed a fully animated educational video focused on explaining natural hydrogen in an accessible and engaging format. The goal was to equip Koloma with a flexible asset that can be used across stakeholder conversations, presentations, and digital channels. 

The video translates technical concepts into a clear visual narrative, helping both technical and non-technical audiences quickly understand the value and potential of natural hydrogen. Designed for adaptability, the asset supports business development, policy discussions, and community engagement by delivering consistent, easy to understand messaging.
